Colonial House
The COLONIAL HOUSE participants have thrown open the doors to their wattle and daub cottages. You're invited on a visit to the year 1628!

Inside you will find descriptions of everyday items from the colonial era. Pick the object which best matches its description.

Since you probably don't live in a 17th-century cottage, you're going to need a little help. You can look at each question's "Helpfull Hinte" for some clues. To learn more about the objects, and to understand some of the trickier items, you will need to hunt through the buildings of the Colony and investigate the Highlights of their contents. To take a virtual tour of the Colony, click on the links below to reach:

The Governor's House
The Lay Preacher's House
The Storehouse
The Ovens

You will need to download the Quicktime plug-in, available at www.apple.com/quicktime/download, to view the interiors of the buildings.

You'll notice that the answers to these multiple-choice questions don't read "a, b, c, d." The correct answers will spell out the answer to the following question:

WHEN DID THE PARTICIPANTS LIVE IN THE COLONIAL HOUSE COLONY?
