Jay Hunter Morris: A New Siegfried for the Ring

Five years ago when Met Opera planned to do the “Ring” cycle they knew that the most difficult single role to cast was the role of Siegfried. When their first choice fell ill, Texas native Jay Hunter Morris stepped into a role with five weeks until curtain that only a handful of men in the world can pull off.
