This week’s question: heist films. A film about a group coming together to pull off a robbery, either serious or comedic.
Soderbergh may be the king of this genre with his Ocean’s films and his “Ocean’s 7-11,” Logan Lucky. Christopher Nolan’s mind-bender Inception would also qualify.
From Richard Peña, “I’ve always loved Mario Monicelli’s Big Deal on Madonna Street that features the Italian equivalent of Oceans 11 film royalty; there’s also Stanley Kubrick’s wonderful The Killing.”
