The films of Anna Biller are not only stylish, they’re lurid, dazzling with colors. Viva is about a married couple who decide to open up their marriage and explores what the Summer of Love actually meant and who actually got the “freedoms” it promised. The Love Witch, mining that same material with even more beautiful sets and costumes, is also a hoot.
