WLIW Arts Beat | Clip | The Stargate Theatre Company

In an effort to stem the school-to-prison pipeline, the Stargate Theater Company in Manhattan employs court-involved youth to write, rehearse and perform original theater pieces, all while providing theatre literacy and work-readiness training. This past summer, the theater company wrote and performed a drama about their aspirations, fears and struggles.
