The Fourth Estate on the Assembly elections

Assembly elections historically don't have a large turnout. This year seemed to drum up a bit more interest. Long-time Republican seats came under fire and it seemed that the holdouts were finally going to turn blue. To everyone's surprise not only did the Republicans keep their seats, they also gained some back. How do the State House political pundits see what is being called the Murphy midterm?
