Using a variety of sports statistics, students will compare, add, and subtract decimals. We will start with the introduction of relevant vocabulary, as well as a quick review of place value. We will compare decimals using models, equations, and story problems. We will then focus on using standard algorithms for adding and subtracting decimals.
