Phil Rizzo, a political newcomer and pastor at a conservative church in Hoboken, is hoping to clinch the republican nomination and challenge Gov. Murphy in the fall. Rizzo spent most of his career as a businessman working with his family in real estate and construction and would bring a far-right, anti-establishment voice to the governor's race.
