A new program is aiming to help save veterans’ lives. The New Jersey Reentry Corporation is teaming up with drug addiction and mental health organizations to provide treatment to veterans discharged with a status other than honorable. This often means veterans are denied essential health benefits. About 22 veterans take their lives every day after dealing with mental health and addiction.
