The city of Camden has been a star recipient of state aid over the years — geared toward attracting businesses to move and grow there. Gov. Phil Murphy visited the city Wednesday touting another round of investments being made there. But activists and other watchdogs have long questioned oversight of that money and whether it has delivered any of the benefits to local residents that were promised.
