For the first time in state history, NJ has a legislative district map by bipartisan consensus. The 11-member NJ Legislative Apportionment Commission voted 9-2 on Friday to approve new boundaries for the 40 districts represented by lawmakers in the State House. The new districts will be in place for the next 10 years. But the new map has set the stage for political clashes among Democrats.
