NJ Spotlight News | Clip | New police training on aiding families with opioid addiction

New Jersey has launched a Child Trauma Response Initiative, a $2 million pilot program to train police officers responding to opioid-related incidents. They will be trained to identify children and families who have experienced trauma because of a family member’s opioid addiction. The officers will connect the children and families to services.
