Phyllis Tickle

Phyllis Tickle, (1935-2015), founding editor of Religion at Publishers Weekly, was an authority on American religion and much sought-after speaker. The author of over three dozen books, she is best known for "The Divine Hours" book series, and "The Great Emergence—How Christianity is Changing and Why." An early near-death experience in her native Tennessee had a profound impact on her life’s work.
