SCOTUS In Session

October 25, 2017

In the first portion of a two-part conversation, Elie Mystal, executive editor of “Above the Law” and legal editor for WNYC’s “More Perfect” podcast, joins host Jenna Flanagan to discuss what has been predicted to be a “momentous” Supreme Court term.

The new term, which began in early October 2017, marks the first full session with nine justices, now that President Trump’s nominee Neil Gorsuch has been seated.

Mystal explains what we might expect from Justice Gorsuch, how he differs from the late Justice Antonin Scalia and what some of the cases are on the high court’s docket.
