METROFOCUS: FEBRUARY 15, 2019

February 16, 2019 at 5:30 am

As the tech giant scraps its plan to build a new headquarters in New York, we have the latest on the fallout and what it means for you.  A veteran hoping to build a family through adoption says she faced bias from adoption agencies. She’ll tell us the story of her struggle and reveal how that painful process led her to pursue a law degree. Though the national unemployment rate remains low, studies show the talent gap among employees continues to grow. As part of our Chasing The Dream initiative, we’ll look at a new program helping underserved teenagers in New York find success in the workplace.

Aired February 15, 2019.
