WAS FIRST SPOTTED NEAR THE
PARK'S POND ON OCTOBER 10th.
THE BEAUTY OF THE BIRD,
HIS MULTICOLORED PUNK HAIR SHOWS
COOL,
AS DOES THE PURPOSE ACROSS HIS
CHEST.
HIS BILL IS PINK AND HIS HEAD
SHINES LIKE AN EMERALD IN THE
SUN.
HE'S A WONDER AND CERTAINLY MADE
AN IMPACT ON OUR CITY AFTER A
WEEK THAT HAS LEFT MANY OF US A
LITTLE WORN AROUND THE EDGES.
WHERE DOES HE COME FROM?
WAS HE SOMEONE'S PET?
DID HE ESCAPE FROM A ZOO?
ONLY HE KNOWS FOR SURE.
AND HE'S NOT QUACKING.
THAT'S ALL RIGHT.
WE ARE GLAD HE'S AROUND.
