TODAY'S FOCUS?

THIS LITTLE GUY.

HE'S A MANDARIN DUCK, A NATIVE OF EAST ASIA.

HE SOMEHOW WOUND UP IN CENTRAL PARK.

THE FANTASTIC FOWL CAPTURED HEARTS AND IMAGINATIONS SINCE HE WAS FIRST SPOTTED NEAR THE PARK'S POND ON OCTOBER 10th.

THE BEAUTY OF THE BIRD, HIS MULTICOLORED PUNK HAIR SHOWS COOL, AS DOES THE PURPOSE ACROSS HIS CHEST.

HIS BILL IS PINK AND HIS HEAD SHINES LIKE AN EMERALD IN THE SUN.

HE'S A WONDER AND CERTAINLY MADE AN IMPACT ON OUR CITY AFTER A WEEK THAT HAS LEFT MANY OF US A LITTLE WORN AROUND THE EDGES.

WHERE DOES HE COME FROM?

WAS HE SOMEONE'S PET?

DID HE ESCAPE FROM A ZOO?

ONLY HE KNOWS FOR SURE.

AND HE'S NOT QUACKING.

THAT'S ALL RIGHT.

WE ARE GLAD HE'S AROUND.

WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK GUS CARRIE AND THE MANHATTAN BIRD ALERT FOR SHARING WITH US AND ENDING OUR WEEK ON A BRIGHT NOTE.

WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO SHARE WITH US AS WELL.

STILLS AND VIDEO ARE ALL WELCOME.

THE ADDRESS -- UNTIL THEN, I'M RAFAEL PI ROMAN.

GOOD NIGHT.
