A new edition of PBS’ American Experience series explores the first major terror attack on U.S. soil. The documentary reveals the story behind the mostly-forgotten 1920 bombing on Wall Street that left 38 people dead and remains unsolved today. Beverly Gage, professor of history and American studies at Yale University and author of “The Day Wall Street Exploded: A Story of America in its First Age of Terror,” on which the documentary is based, joins us to explore the radical movement that led to the tragic events.
