TONIGHT ON METROFOCUS

January 05, 2018 at 5:30 am

Tonight, on a special edition of MetroFocus, we feature a roundtable forum on the state of local politics. We’ll cover everything from the contentious race for city council speaker, to what we can expect from Mayor de Blasio’s second term. And, as the de Blasio-Cuomo feud wages on, and the governor delivered his “State of the State Address” in Albany on Wednesday, we explore if the speech he ultimately wants to deliver is “The State of the Union.” Plus, we’re looking at Long Island’s historic elections, now dubbed their “year of the women.”

Aired on January 4, 2018.
