September 22, 2017: TONIGHT ON METROFOCUS

September 23, 2017 at 5:00 am

We have the latest push to get “Dreamers” legal help from New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer. Shaquille O’Neal giving back!  The basketball great goes back to his hometown of Newark and shares his passion and gratitude to the ‘Boys and Girls Clubs of America.’  It’s an intimate, thoughtful, and personal side of Shaq you don’t often get to see. As we watch in awe of Ken Burns and Lynn Novick’s documentary “The Vietnam War,” MetroFocus correspondent Maddie Orton takes us to a place where they remember the war, learn from the experience, and honor all of those who served.

MetroFocus is made possible by James and Merryl Tisch, Sue and Edgar Wachenheim III, the Sylvia A. and Simon B. Poyta Programming Endowment to Fight Anti-Semitism, Bernard and Irene Schwartz, Rosalind P. Walter, Barbara Hope Zuckerberg, Jody and John Arnhold, the Cheryl and Philip Milstein Family, Janet Prindle Seidler, Judy and Josh Weston and the Dr. Robert C. and Tina Sohn Foundation.
