What do you call a man who has produced some of the most iconic Broadway hits in history, with a seven decade resume that includes “West Side Story,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Cabaret,” “Evita,” and so many others? That title would be “Prince,” Hal Prince to be exact, and we are pleased to have theater royalty join us as Mr. Prince takes us through his career and his amazing latest production.
The Hal Prince exhibit coming in 2019 at the New York Library for the Performing Arts will celebrate Prince’s extraordinary career with an exhibition, drawn extensively from his archive, that explores his remarkable contributions to the American theatre and the theatrical networks in which he worked and will feature rarely seen artifacts and video. It will be sponsored in part by the Leo Shull Foundation.
