Nonprofit Helps Young Women Of Color Break Barriers In Entertainment Industry

In honor of Black History Month and as part of our on-going American Graduate series, MetroFocus Contributor Andrea Vasquez sits down with Lauren Lake, host of “Paternity Court” and founding member of Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network (WEEN), and actress Naturi Naughton, a WEEN honoree, to discuss the organization and the challenges facing women of color in the professional world.
“The Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network, WEEN is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and inspiring young girls to live their very best lives,” Lake tells MetroFocus Contributor Andrea Vasquez.
