Are New York City’s Coyotes Here to Stay?

With all the concerns that we hear expressed daily about life in the metropolitan area, who would ever have thought that we’d be concerned about coyotes running wild in Manhattan? But recently, that’s exactly what we’ve seen.

So where are these animals coming from? And just how alarmed should we be? Christopher Nagy, co-founder of the Gotham Coyote Project — a study with the American Museum of Natural History and the Mianus River Gorge — spoke with anchor Jack Ford about what he’s learned.
