Professor William Solecki, director of the CUNY Institute for Sustainable Cities, predicted in 2009 that climate change would leave certain parts of New York City more vulnerable to storm damage. Solecki takes a look at the role of the climate in superstorms like Hurricane Sandy and speaks about what the next century might bring.
