Sandra Rothenberg

Sandra (Sandy) Rothenberg joined Friends of Channel Thirteen in June 2016.

Sandy worked as an occupational therapist for 35 years in hospitals and schools in NYC and Fairfield County, CT.

Sandy volunteers in the Book Buddies reading program at an elementary school in Bridgeport Ct. She also volunteered at The Museum of Modern Art NY, NYC for five years in the Create Ability program.

Sandy participates on the advisory board of the Sholem Aleichem Network, with the responsibility of researching organizations and individuals requesting grants and information that further the Sholem Aleichem legacy. Sholem Aleichem, the Yiddish author, was her great-grandfather.

Sandy is a fine arts painter and photographer. She is a member of The Artists Collective of Westport, Westport Ct, Silvermine Arts Guild, New Canaan Ct, and the Carriage Barn Arts Center New Canaan Ct.  She has received an award for a photograph from Backroads Travel. Her home is in Connecticut.
