Since 2017, WNET’s Community Engagement division has held frank, private convenings with 300-plus thinkers and doers from across New York City to better understand the issues facing New Yorkers. The participants have represented organizations and institutions that are leaders in healthcare, higher education, economic development, arts and culture, social services, legal services, religion, and environmentalism and conservation. Independent artists, activists, entrepreneurs, journalists, and community organizers have also participated and enriched these conversations.
