Titled Comfort and Joy, the season finale doesn’t hold much of either! Our cast of characters go through a lot of tsuris to get to something better than gloomy. This episode made me think that maybe the conflict between Albert and Victoria is the different ways they look back on their miserable childhoods.

Albert has love, but no power. His brother Ernie has power, but no love. They could stand to listen to “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.” Love, death and politics fill Victoria Episode 6.
