American Experience: The Secret of Tuxedo Park
Tuxedo Park is a tony enclave bordering Harriman State Park, roughly an hour’s commute north of New York City. Not only does it have a gated community full of multi-million dollar homes, but yes, it once held a secret, too. It was here that Alfred Lee Loomis, a mysterious Wall Street tycoon with money, connections and a brilliant scientific mind, joined forces with scientists to develop radar technology that would arguably play a more decisive role than any other weapon in World War II. The Secret of Tuxedo Park tells a long-overlooked story of an individual who helped alter the course of history during the war. Watch the full episode now.
Nature: Arctic Wolf Pack
At the very northern edge of North America is Ellesmere Island, where the unforgiving Arctic winds tear through the tundra, dipping temperatures to 40 below zero. Running through this shifting sea of snow and ice is one of the most hardened predators on the planet, the White Wolf. Though it sounds good to be at the top of the food chain, the realities of keeping packs and pups alive are harsh. The documentary captures the extremely rare circumstance of two females nursing the same litter – it’s a behavior that’s never been filmed before. Watch Now.

Dancing on the Edge
From acclaimed writer and director Stephen Poliakoff (The Lost Prince), this ensemble mystery nominated for three Golden Globe awards features an all-star cast led by BAFTA Award-Winner Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years A Slave), Matthew Goode (The Good Wife, The Imitation Game) and Jacqueline Bisset, who won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress; it also stars Tom Hughes and Jenna Coleman (Prince Albert and Victoria in Victoria, respectively) Angel Coulby, John Goodman and Wunmi Mosaku.
Dancing on the Edge details the rise of the Louis Lester Band, a black jazz band in 1930s London. Managed by the compassionate yet short-tempered Wesley Holt, the band lands a gig at the Imperial Hotel thanks to the cunning journalist Stanley Mitchell. They prove to be a hit, and their star begins to rise.
Countless aristocrats — including the royal family — ask the band to play at parties, catching the eye of the ambitious American businessman Walter Masterson and his enthusiastic employee, Julian. However, as the band continues to prevail, despite the racism and classism they encounter, Louis, finds himself entangled in a series of unfortunate events. He becomes a suspect in a murder case, putting him on the run and possibly leading to the band’s demise.
