Gov. Kathy Hochul’s State Budget Address for New York: Live Broadcast

We bring you a live broadcast of Governor Kathy Hochul’s State Budget Address for New York on Tuesday, January 18, 11 a.m. See the livestream at thirteen.org/live.

As reported by public media WXXI’s Capitol Bureau Chief Karen DeWitt, Hochul will provide details on State programs she announced during her State of the State address on January 5. Those include spending on boosting the health care workforce, improving schools, and providing property tax rebates. DeWitt reported today that New York State currently has a surplus, taking in $12.9 billion more dollars in revenues than initially predicted during the first nine months of the fiscal year (read more on WMHT’s New York Now site.)

The State Budget Address by Governor Kathy Hochul of New York addresses Fiscal Year 2023 and will be available to stream live at thirteen.org/live and www.governor.ny.gov. The governor’s office encourages members of the public to tune in.
