PBS NewsHour hosts Democratic Debate

December 19 at 8 p.m.: Tune in to THIRTEEN or stream the Democratic presidential debate here.

The sixth Democratic debate will be held on December 19, 2019 at 8 p.m. at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, and will be hosted by PBS NewsHour and POLITICO and broadcast on THIRTEEN and PBS stations.

The debate will feature these Democratic candidates for president: former Vice President Joe Biden, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Tom Steyer, Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Andrew Yang.

Judy Woodruff, Amna Nawaz and Yamiche Alcindor from PBS NewsHour and Tim Alberta from POLITICO will moderate the Democratic presidential debate.

Woodruff is the anchor and managing editor of PBS NewsHour, Nawaz is the organization’s senior national correspondent and Alcindor is its White House correspondent. Alberta is chief political correspondent at POLITICO. PBS and POLITICO are sponsoring the debate, and CNN will provide a simulcast.

7:30 pm: Pre-show coverage begins
8 p.m.: Debate begins
11 p.m.: Anticipated start of post-debate analysis
