Sesame Street

Hey, Kids! Celebrate the jolly holidays all month long with holiday shows from favorite PBSKids series, and some programs the adults watch at 8 p.m., too.

PBSKids Holiday Show Specials

In Sesame Street: Holiday at Hooper’s (Monday, December 6, 1 p.m.), Elmo and Baby Bear stay with Alan and Nina at Hooper’s store when their parents run late from a holiday concert. They’re disappointed that they can’t celebrate Christmas Eve and Chanukah as planned, but carols, latkes, and decorations galore make their celebration fun and memorable.

Alma’s Way, Noche Buena episode.

Next, take the 6 train to The Bronx for Alma’s Noche Buena/Three Kings Day Do-Over (Monday, December 13, 8:30 a.m.), a special holiday-themed episode of Alma’s Way. This new PBSKids series by Sonia Manzano (Maria in Sesame Street) airs every day but Saturday at 8 a.m.

And check the Kids listings for airings of Curious George: A Very Monkey Christmas, starting Friday, December 3 at 9 a.m.; Arthur’s Perfect Christmas, starting Thursday, December 9 at 9:30 a.m.; and other festive specials!
