PBS NewsHour is providing live coverage of the January 6 Hearings via broadcast and digital platforms. The next public hearing on Tuesday, July 12 at 1 p.m. will be broadcast live on THIRTEEN and WLIW21 World (a change from 10 a.m. as originally announced by the January 6th Committee). The Day 7 proceeding is expected to be approximately two hours in length.
On July 6, news broke that former Trump White House counsel Pat Cipollone agreed to testify Friday before the January 6 committee in a closed hearing.
PBS NewsHour Capitol Hill Correspondent Lisa Desjardins reported via Twitter on July 6: “Pat Cipollone is not expected nor agreeing to speak in live public testimony at any point. He will testify in videotaped questions, which the January 6 committee can use later in hearings.”
