December 3, 2019

PBS NewsHour will provide special coverage of the House Judiciary Committee’s first public hearing in the impeachment inquiry on Wednesday, December 4 at 10 a.m., which will stream on this page, THIRTEEN’s Twitter and Facebook accounts, on PBS NewsHour YouTube, and be broadcast live on THIRTEEN and World channels. World will re-broadcast the hearing in primetime at 7 p.m.

The Wednesday hearing will examine the premise of “high crimes and misdemeanors” through testimony from scholars and experts. The four witnesses expected to testify at the House Judiciary Committee’s first hearing are:

  • Noah Feldman, Harvard Law School
  • Pamela S. Karlan, Stanford Law School
  • Michael Gerhardt, University of North Carolina School of Law
  • Jonathan Turley, George Washington University Law School

The hearing by the Judiciary comes after the House Intelligence Committee held five days of public impeachment hearings late last month. Stream those hearings here.
