Call the Midwife: Fifth Season

It’s 1961 and Poplar is beginning to feel the winds of social change, along with improvements in housing, sanitation and healthcare. The topic of Thalidomide, introduced last season, continues to reverberate as the nurses and midwives deliver babies born with severe deformities.

Season premieres Sunday, April 3 at 8 p.m. Watch clips and previews from the previous seasons here.

Mr. Selfridge: Fourth & Final Season

The farewell season focuses on new troubles and love interests for Harry Gordon Selfridge (Jeremy Piven), and also the dramatic decline of the flamboyant founder of Selfridges department store.

Season premieres on Sunday, March 27 at 10 p.m. Catch up on Season 3 here.

Grantchester: Second Season

Whiskey-drinking, jazz-loving vicar Sidney Chambers (James Norton) and veteran cop Inspector Geordie Keating (Robson Green, Reckless) return for a second season of crime solving in post-World War II England in Grantchester. Cases include a shocking charge of sexual assault that turns into a homicide investigation implicating a pillar of the community, a suicide from the college spire that takes on Cold War overtones, a confession to murder in which the alleged victim is still very much alive, and a haunted stable with links to the Holocaust. On an amorous note, a promising female companion enters Sidney’s world. Has he found true love or will he scare her away with his unconventional taste for jazz and blood-spattered crime?

Season premieres Sunday, March 27 at 9 p.m. Catch up on the first season here.
