On Monday, December 2, WNET returned as a media sponsor of the 14th annual Winter’s Eve at Lincoln Square, New York’s largest outdoor holiday festival.
The Tisch WNET Studios at 66th Street and Broadway were open to visitors from 5:30-9 p.m., and guests had the chance to meet Daniel Tiger and Curious George, participate in giveaways, and more. The first 100 members to present their active THIRTEEN MemberCard also received a free gift.

Beyond our studio, the evening’s festivities began at 5:30 p.m. at Broadway and 63rd Street with the Upper West Side’s Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony, and continued along Broadway from Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle to 68th Street with free entertainment, more than 20 live musical performances, and food tastings from over 30 top local restaurants.
