Throughout our Central Virginia viewing area, we had 6 videoconference sites. Over 300 in attendance! We have separate steering committees in Charlottesville, Fredericksburg and for the Greater Richmond Area.

The Richmond area feel strongly that our first and most important job is to reach as many people to bring them news about the series in September. In order to do this we are putting forth an army to reach as many of the spiritual and faith communities we can. We aim to do this through meetings with their major organizations, mailings and personal contact. The parish nurses organizations can be a big help

Hopefullly, the long term outcome will be the development of a regional or statewide coalition of EOL organizations. A guide similar to the West Virginia Initiative.

We are only at the beginnings...

All times are ET (US)
