Boy, I watched the show last night and I gotta hand it to the Navy. You guys sure have come a hell of a long way! Now when I watch those carriers on TV, I've got reason to be proud. Never realized before what a history-load of technology and good ol' American ingenuity is packed into those ships. Does the Navy offer history lessons on this stuff for its people? It should!

If I could bake one of my peanut butter pecan pies for the whole Navy, I would! All of you wonderful men and women deserve it in this difficult time. I'm a hardcore history buff (as well as pastry chef) and finding this wonderful website really brought the message home.We love you in Des Moines, Iowa!

Admiration for a job well done!

I am a disabled (ARMY)coldwar\vietnam vet who wishes he could serve a hitch in the Navy right now. You see my grandfather was a naval seabee,my father a marine, and my daughter a naval hull maintence tech.
I always loved ships just talked to the wrong recruited I guess. Your country is behind you,I know I am. God bless you & God bless America.

Amen to that. But sounds like you served our country well regardless. I'm former Air Force -- Vietnam -- and, gotta tell ya, I've had the same love of ships eating at me for 20 yrs.Course, I'll always root for the carriers, cause there're carrying planes.

Sam & Gilbert, you both served our country and you should be proud of your past efforts. We wouldn't be living in this free country we live now if it wasn't for the day to day efforts of our service men and women who keep it that way.
I wanted to be an aircraft carrier pilot but my parents thought I was too young (17yrs.old). That was in '81. After that the granada war happened and then the gulf. Watching it on the news was enough for me. So I give all service men and woman a big THANK YOU and GOD Bless. Because if it weren't for them, we wouldn't be living under the blanket of freedom they've provided for us.
Did anyone catch 'A Few Good Men' on Superstation last night?

All I can say is way to go guys, and gals in the Navy. We're glad you're out there as a forward presence against these nasty folk.
If any of you are out there, let us know how its going! Keep up the good work.

As parents of two Navy sailors, our love, thoughts and prayers go out to ALL military personnel who so generously give their time and lives so that ALL of us may be free. God bless each and every one. May fair winds guide your voyages.

As a current US Navy sailor I would like to thank all of you that have showed support to all of the men and women on ships throughout the world. It is hard to think of ways for us to show our gratitude for you but trust me we are very gracious for your support.

I served on board the Connie (USS Constellation) from 1977-1979 in the airwing as an AD (Aviation Machinst's Mate), jet mechanic for those that aren't familiar. I was in VF-211 stationed at NAS Miramar during that time. I had to leave unexpectedly (those that know me know why)and I am looking for anybody that was in my squadron or onbord with me during that time. I would like to find out what happened after I left and see how my old buddies have been doing. Also I wanted to say that we all love all you guys here at home and God bless all of you!

I've worked for over 37 years doing aerodynamic design for US Navy jets. I'm just one of thousands of engineers and other workers who have done our best to give you the safest and best aircraft in the world. I know we all pray for your safety and be grateful for your dedication.
