THIRTEEN keeps me up-to-date, intrigued, enchanted, entertained, curious, thoughtful, amazed, curious, stupefied, joyful. There is no one favorite program, but many: Masterpiece (Downtown Abbey!); American Masters, Bill Moyers and Company, and so many others. What makes THIRTEEN unique? Its fearless programming. There are few, if any, programs on network television that show us the full spectrum of what it is to be human, in all of its glory and messiness. It is truly the eye that never blinks.
