THIRTEEN PBS
Yo-Yo Ma

Paula Zahn interviews Yo-Yo Ma about The Silk Road Project, an internationally collaborative project he founded. Ma explains the educational mission of the organization, the multitude of cultural expressions that can be found in music, and the events for its 10 year anniversary to be held at Alice Tully Hall, Damrosch Park and to air for PBS’ Live From Lincoln Center.

Inspired by the cultural traditions of the historical Silk Road, the Silk Road Project is a catalyst, promoting innovation and learning through the arts.

The vision of the Silk Road project is to connect the world’s neighborhoods by bringing together artists and audiences around the globe.
