Mr. Peter Gelb’s vision for the future of the Met and Opera is much esteemed by all of us opera and classical music fans, and supporters. But mostly his quest to help the young opera singers with the cooperation of The Juilliard, is what the late Mr. Gentile had planned to do. Unfortunately he was killed in an accident and since that time we lost this so valuable support for our young singers. I believe he was planning to call it The Mini Met.

I applaud Mr. Gelb for all his wonderful ideas to bring opera to millions of people.

My wife and I have being pleased with all the productions we’ve seen this season.
