Virtuoso saxophonist, composer, arranger and conductor Paquito D’Rivera is one of the most important figures in the history of Latin Jazz, one of two artists to ever win Grammy’s in both the classical and jazz categories. Rafael Pi Roman spoke with Paquito about his music and his life at the legendary Blue Note, in New York’s West Village.
