Herman Eberhardt, museum curator at the Franklin Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum in Hyde Park, gives a tour of the FDR and the Sea exhibition at the South Street Seaport Museum in this SundayArts Choice. See a different side of FDR through his extensive naval and maritime collection, hobbies, and correspondance.

Enjoyed this. If Mr. Eberhardt is a descendant of the Eberhardt-Faber pencil people, I grew up in their former NYC home in the 1930s, & would love to tell him my story! It was an amazing childhood.
