New SundayArts correspondent Melissa Chiu interviews artist, filmmaker and director William Kentridge. An exhibition of his artwork and animation is currently on view at the Museum of Modern Art. In addition, he is here in New York right now for the NY premiere of Shostakovich’s The Nose at the Metropolitan Opera House. He has provided the scenic design and is the production’s director.

I am so delighted to find Melissa Chiu. Finally an star in herchoice of artists, in her questions and in her demeanor on camera. I hope to be a follower now of all she produces.
