The American Folk Art Museum is an institution that’s nearly 50 years old and specializes in traditional American Folk Art and contemporary self-taught artists. Brooke Davis Anderson, Director and Curator of the Contemporary Center, gives a tour of the exhibit “Approaching Abstraction,” 60 works of art by nearly 40 artists that defy traditional concepts of narrative.
