American Ballet Theatre Achieves Perfection with “Giselle”

Perfection is a dangerous word, especially when applied to a subjectively perceived art like ballet. But there is no doubt that it applies to ABT's "Giselle" as performed by Diana Vishneva and Marcelo Gomes on May 27.

It's hard to come up with a brand new dance, but what might be even more difficult is to create a new version of a classic, as Pacific Northwest Ballet is doing with Giselle.
