A brief introduction to the work of internationally acclaimed artist Shahzia Sikander. You will learn about her experience as a curator of the exhibition “Shahzia Sikander Selects” — on display at the Cooper-Hewitt until September 7th — featuring works from the National Design Museum’s permanent collection. You will also get a glimpse into the process through which she drew inspiration from some of these works in creating her own art pieces.
