Interview with Olafur Eliasson

Eliasson talks about his Waterfalls project, how the placement of the falls reflects NYC as a whole, and more about the construction and conceptualization of the project. The interview took place on May 21, 2008 for the documentary The Waterfalls: Making Public Art, airing July 2, 2008 at 8pm.

This programming is an excellent opportunity for citizens to hear an artist of our time speak about other aspects of the falls that we may not have previously considered. PBS offers a different kind of reality television that we all need to support even if it’s the smallest amount.
