For the Solomon R Guggenheim Museum’s 50th anniversary, former director Thomas Krens spoke with SundayArts. Wright’s design of the Guggenheim stands out as one of the most iconic buildings of the 20th century, and his signature style continues to be celebrated today. Krens discusses Wright’s influence, as well as his unrealized projects, such as city and building plans for Baghdad.
