A full hour with Al Green. Green was 26 when he recorded this concert in the Soul! studios, and it was his second appearance on the program.
This is sweet and sassy.
This is the best Al Green concert I’ve ever seen! I’ve seen him live 5 times, and all were great shows, but this one was super!!! Thank you, WNET, for sharing this classic with us fans of Al Green.
The only other song I wish he’d sung is “Simply Beautiful”. That would have really topped it off.
