Second time seeing this film and it rocks, it sends several messages but the one that stands out for me is (sometimes the best things for us is right in front of our faces). Gives me hope that I still have time to find my prince charming. Thick and sweet.

to a certain degree, i agree with phiip but,i also feel a lot films intentionally [or not] have “large” stereotyped characters. if you think about early cinema,and classic mythology,just about everything is broad and stereotyped. i think one has to accept, that certain movies use a big personality,over the top emotion delivery, to deliver a message, that may still may be subtle, nuanced, and, intlligent.
