Synopsis & Director Info
Air Date: May 2, 2009
Synopsis:
A “truly spectacular” (The New York Times) film that combines action, romance and breathtaking adventure, Dances With Wolves is “a cinematic masterpiece” (American Movie Classics) that is nothing short of “a triumph” (Roger Ebert)! Sent to protect a US outpost on the desolate frontier, Lt. John Dunbar (Kevin Costner) finds himself alone in the vast wilderness. Befriending the very people he’s sent to protect the outpost from, the Sioux Indians, Dunbar slowly comes to revere those he once feared. But when the encroaching US Army threatens to overrun the Sioux, he is forced to make a choice… one that will forever change his destiny and that of a proud and defiant nation.
Director: Kevin Costner
After what was supposed to be his breakout performance in The Big Chill was left on the cutting room floor, Kevin Costner could’ve been relegated to the dustbin of Hollywood history. But director Lawrence Kasdan liked Costner and put him in his next film, 1985’s Silverado. Costner went on to star in modern classics like The Untouchables (1987), Bull Durham (1988), Field of Dreams (1989), and JFK (1991), as well as blockbuster hits like Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991) and The Bodyguard (1992). Costner won a slew of Academy Awards for Dances With Wolves (1990), which he directed, but later directing efforts like Waterworld, The Postman, and Open Range were less successful.

OKAY here’s the info on this weeks movie
WHERE IS THE SHOW TIME
4-5 web site revisions in 1 year and the core info is never there - High School Students could make a better site.
A Bar Chart/Graph is of no help if the Bar si too small to show the time within th bar and there is no way to expand the bar.
Thank the Universe for Coprorate efforts like Hulu for
1.TRUE ALTERNATIVE viewing
2. Ease of Navigation
3. Show Time, Run Time and data
4. Links that don’t loop back up on itself and actually take you to new and additional information
5. Steaming form a site so you don’t have to hassle with beings who don’t realize it’s not about the Content[or wher it is] - it’s when the Content CAN BE SEEN.
I’m tired of using IMDB [Internet Movie Database] to figure out when a movie ends. Until the CORE BROADCAST LISTINGS improve - this Site is a waste as a GUIDE.
I’m tired fo emailing NEEDED suggestions.
PS: Hulu has given human replies to questiosn and corrections I have posted to them within 48 hours. {no canned responses]
I enjoyed seeing “Dances With Wolves” again so much. I loved it the 1st time & I loved it just as much again this time. Kevin Costner did a wonderful job with this film & is deserving of every award he received. It is a beautiful story & film.
